Who are Carriere Freres?

Starting their journey into candle creation in 1884, the Carrière brothers decided to transform the candle, which at the time was considered a practical light source for the evenings, into something that could complete the home.
Winning a gold medal for their invention at the Universal Exposition of 1889 held in Paris, Carriere Freres set out to modernise candles. Inspired by the work of 18th century botanists and adventurers, they worked to transform fine fragrant ingredients into scented candles that could fill a room with their liveliness.
With thoughtful blends of waxes that beautifully carry the delicate spring and summer notes of their hero scents, Carrière Frères has the same lineage as Cire Trudon candles.
