BIODERMA is a skincare brand built around sensitive skin, with separate ranges for different skin needs. BIODERMA Sensibio Micellar Water and Cleansers
Start with the BIODERMA Sensibio range, made for sensitive skin. The Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Water Cleanser is the brand's best-known product. Its product description says it was the first micellar water, with a minimalist formula that is gentle on sensitive skin and removes makeup, dirt and impurities without requiring water. It is listed in 100ml, 250ml and 500ml, plus a 500ml pump bottle, so you can pick a travel size or a bathroom-sized one. If you prefer an oil, the Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil combines an oil cleanser with micellar technology to remove makeup, sunscreen and impurities without disrupting the skin's natural barrier. For a moisturiser from the same range, Sensibio Defensive is a lightweight, fragrance-free option with peptides and vitamin E for sensitive or sensitised skin, and Sensibio Defensive Rich is a thicker version for dry, sensitive skin.
BIODERMA Atoderm, Hydrabio and Cicabio
For very dry skin, the BIODERMA Atoderm range includes the Atoderm Creme Ultra Nourishing Moisturiser for dry skin and the Atoderm Intensive Baume, a barrier-replenishing moisturiser for very dry skin. If your skin is dehydrated rather than dry, the BIODERMA Hydrabio range includes the Hydrabio Hyalu+ Plumping Hydrating Serum with hyaluronic acid for dehydrated skin, and a Light Moisturising Water Cream. When skin needs repair, the BIODERMA Cicabio range includes the Cicabio Creme+, an ultra-repairing, soothing cream. Many people use more than one range, for example a Sensibio cleanser with an Atoderm or Hydrabio moisturiser.
BIODERMA Sebium and Photoderm Sunscreen
The BIODERMA Sebium range is for oily and acne-prone skin. It includes a Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser for oily skin, the Sebium H2O Purifying Micellar Water Cleanser, an Anti-blemish Hydrating Serum and the Kerato+ Anti-blemish Treatment Gel Cream for acne-prone skin. For daily sun protection, the Photoderm Suncare Fluid SPF50+ Dry-touch Face Sunscreen comes in a 50ml size. Photoderm also includes an invisible SPF50+ face and body lotion and an SPF50+ dewy glow serum. As with any sunscreen, apply it as directed on the pack.
