The New who is elijah Fragrance Taking Adore Beauty Staff by Storm

I've regularly spoken to our Fragrance Category Manager, Liz, about notes and scents I like, vowing to her that it's sooo hard for me to find new fragrances that I truly love.

But...could I have finally found a fragrance that I'm willing to let my guard down for?

Swirling together woody, leathery and musky notes, this irresistibly versatile gender-neutral fragrance has taken our office by storm.

And no, I'm not exaggerating.

Morning After is becoming a fast favourite around the office, calling Adore Beauty staffers to quickly flock to the fragrance room in the mornings before work for a cheeky little spritz.

If you could smell it, you'd understand why. But since you can't, I'm going to do my very best at giving this fragrance the praise it deserves.

From the very moment it was placed on my desk encased in a slim, white cylindrical box, I knew that Morning After would be like nothing I'd ever smelled before.

The unboxing of Morning After is an experience in itself; one that I only wish I revelled in for a little longer.

Instead, I eagerly tore apart at the paper tab holding the box together and eagerly lifted the lid off.

There she stood in all her glory – carefully cradled in the bottom portion of the box.

Three of my coworkers gathered around my desk during my maniacal unboxing, all four of us as excited as each other for this long-awaited unboxing.

We all waited with bated breath for the first spritz.

Now, this might sound extreme to those of you with a regular 9-5, but when you work in the beauty industry, dramatic and excited unboxings are all a part of the job.

As I pulled the bottle away from the cardboard base, the first thing that captured my attention was the new, minimalist label stuck to the front of the fragrance.

With my very first spritz into the air in front of me, I was instantly reminded of the warm, fresh notes of one of my other favourite fragrances that's much pricier.

After making the link between Morning After and my favourite fragrance, I wasted no time in spritzing the fragrance all over me.

If I could've, I would've doused my entire body in it.

Funnily enough, our encounter with this fragrance was cut short, and our entire marketing team was swept away for a fragrance masterclass.

Throughout the one-hour class, I noticed the fragrance maturing on my skin; what was once a crisp and fresh scent had quickly become a sensually warm and hearty blend instead.

The warm musky notes stayed for the duration of the work day (resulting in countless compliments from my coworkers), and lingered throughout dinner and drinks with my friends.

In fact, at approximately 9.37 pm that night, my man-friend commented that I smelled "absolutely irresistible." Now, that's what I call staying power.

As if his words weren't complimentary enough, he helped himself to the sample that I'd stashed on my vanity, generously spritzing his wrists and neck with the liquid gold in the morning.

Over the past two weeks, this fragrance has become the most-reached-for scent in my fragrance rotation, quickly surpassing even my most senior favourites.

By the sound of things though, I'm not the only one who seems to have found a new signature scent.

"My fave who is elijah fragrance has always been NOMAD but since Morning After landed on our desks, this has been bumped up to #1 for me. It was love and first spritz and I honestly haven't stopped spraying it on myself. It's cool, it's fresh it's earthy and as Nikkita mentions, it smells a lotttt like another very fancy perfume.
