If you're a fan of cute homewares and small luxuries then I need to introduce you to IKKARI.
You may have seen their beautiful packaging all over your social media feed, but I am so excited to announce that they have now launched at Adore Beauty.
When I was asked if I wanted to road test some of their products, you best believe I gave the quickest YES ever. I'm a certified homewares aficionado and proud.
The products landed on my desk and the whole office was swooning over them. The packaging itself is insanely beautiful, and honestly I don't think pics even do it justice, that's how stunning they are in person.
I think I had like seven people from other teams come over and ask if they can have a sneaky peek at all the products.
What's even more intriguing is the cool line up of products they have on offer that go beyond just handsoap and shower gels.
What surprised me the most are their tonics; edible liquid supplements designed for different needs such as sleep.
I'm a massive edible beauty fan, so my day got even better when I found out that I could try a tonic too!

One word: LUXE
I wouldn't call myself a hand soap connoisseur, but wow this one felt different to the rest.
I'm not kidding, my hands felt the softest they have ever felt. I remember thinking to myself, is that what I've been missing out on? Is this how your hands should feel after every wash?
And the scent, if I closed my eyes and didnt know what it was I might have said lime, most likely because I had no idea what a green mandarin smelt like but I absolutely love it. A combination of fruity zestiness and luxurious to a tee.

Okay, now for this one I can say that I am a shower oil (or any beauty oil) connoisseur, I have quite literally tried them all.
Two words this time: VERY LUXE.
Wow, this is an absolute winner (big for me to say as I am a tough shower oil critic). A little goes a long way and the texture is so hydrating and well I guess LUXE!
The scent is quite strong for anyone who is a little sensitive to powerful scents but I actually loved it, I felt like I was at a stunning spa in the rainforest.
There was zero, and I mean zero dryness felt on the skin after using, which sometimes oils can leave. My skin felt super soft and hydrated which is my number one criteria for any shower oil.
And the packaging…12/10, I mean just look how cute it looks in my shower with its little body wash buddy. The packaging is all reusable and made from aluminium too.

Obviously stunning once again. I am in love with this green mandarin scent, it's so unique yet so familiar.
The silky feeling left my skin feeling soft and supple and once again it didn't feel striped. I'm starting to notice a theme here.
It's quite gentle, yet luxurious, and my whole bathroom smelt like a very expensive hotel spa on a Greek island.
IKKARI Deep Sleep Tonic.

My IKKARI Deep Sleep Tonic Review:
I was a little nervous for this one, mostly because it looked like I was pumping soap into my water but I was pleasantly surprised!
The scent is quite a strong caramel-like scent, I was surprised to read the flavour profile was actually lavender, ginger and vanilla because you can definitely only smell the Vanilla.
I pumped five pumps into 100ml of water as the package suggested and I actually really liked it. The flavour is quite diluted which was great because the sound of caramel water wasn't exciting to me. I pretty quickly gulped up the 100ml and went off to bed!
Honestly, I could represent Australia at the Olympics if sleep were a sport, so I'm not sure I necessarily can talk to the effect it had on my sleep but I have read some amazing reviews online for its wonderful benefits for sleep.
I would love to try it during the day when I am feeling a little anxious to see if it calms my mind, stay tuned!

My IKKARI Overnight Renewal Cream Review:
As a dry skin girlie, I am always on the hunt for rich night creams to hydrate my skin. This one definitely delivered, it's thick and has some beautiful ingredients to accompany your skincare routine.
I noticed my skin was hydrated in the morning and felt plump and refreshed. I have rosacea and it didn't cause any flare ups which is plus plus plus.
It has quite a strong scent, and I am personally not a massive fan of strong scents on my face but if you want to feel like you've just walked out of a three hour luxurious facial, then this is the night cream for you!

Hello IKKARI, I am your new number one fan, it's so nice to be here.
I would absolutely purchase all the body products ten times over. They're all luxurious, beautifully packaged and left my skin feeling softer than any other product I've tried before.
I am still fascinated by the Deep Sleep Tonic, and am super keen to try it during the day to see if it calms me.
