Earlier this month, I noticed a shift in my
TikTok algo.
What once resembled a mismatched collection of matcha, mani's and mormons ( #tradwife tok is my guilty pleasure), my highly curated fyp started to resemble...
Medicube? Just lots and lots of Medicube. Every second video I scrolled past was skinfluencers, celebs (Kylie Jenner loves their
PDRN Pink Peptide Serum) and everyday joes' raving about the brand.
Pore pads that actually do something? Overnight collagen masks that plump? Whispers of glassy, poreless, near-mirror-like skin? It was an easy sell.
With the brand landing at Adore Beauty this month, I decided to deep dive the top products from the derm-backed brand to find out: Is Medicube actually worth the hype?
What is Medicube?
Let’s start with the basics. Medicube is a Korean skincare brand that’s become the that girl of the K-beauty world. With 100 million views under their hashtag on TikTok, they've amassed somewhat of cult following that spans skincare lovers, derms, and beauty editors alike.
Unlike many aesthetic-first beauty brands, Medicube was built on a clinical foundation. Everything is dermatologist-tested, ingredient forward and targeted to address skin concerns like enlarged pores, pigmentation and breakouts.
Their approach blends K-beauty fundamentals: pillowy textures, smart ingredients and buzzy, gram-worthy tech, all while keeping skin barrier health top of mind.
Where Can You Buy Medicube in Australia?
Great news for Aussie skincare lovers, Adore Beauty is now an official stockist of Medicube in Australia. You can finally get your hands on those glow-giving pads and collagen-wrapping masks without the hefty international shipping fees.
Medicube Deep Vita C Capsule Cream Review

It's the most viral product from the brand - and with good reason. She delivers next level radiance, brightening and luminosity. I'm talking whatever-the-hell-Kris-Jenner-had level glow.
The formula is split into two parts: a dewy gel base and tiny, golden Vitamin C capsules that burst as you blend. There’s something deeply satisfying about the texture (like popping boba?) and it absorbs in seconds.

The stabilised liposomal capsules ensure the potent blend of actives penetrate deep layers of the skin without causing irritation (or sting!). Which is needed because the actives here are no joke.
Heroing Vitamin C, the formula is also brimming with 5% niacinamide (to correct tone), and a 50% Vitamin Water to effectively hydrate and support skin's elasticity (hello, bounce!). Any way you slice it - the finish is enviable.
Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 Review

If you’ve ever been personally victimised by enlarged pores (same), you will love this one.
Dual textured, these toner pads are soaked in a clarifying salicylic acid essence that instantly tones, smooths and exfoliates skin.
I swipe the bumpy side first to buff away dead skin, then flip to the smooth side to infuse actives. This formula is potent, so I would recommend starting gradually (especially if your skin veers on the sensitive side). I found 3 times a week to be my sweet spot.
I've been roadtesting this formula for a few weeks now and have noticed a definite reduction in congestion around my nose and chin area. This could be due to a shift in hormones but i'd personally like to believe it's thanks to this newbie.
One result that I can confidently attribute to the pads is an improvement to oily-ness. Having focused product around my T-zone, my skin is looking more balanced and even.
Medicube Deep Vita C Pad Review

Another soaked-pad offering (their 2025s best skin craze imo), these beauties promise supercharged brightening in a mere swipe.
Swimming in a generous trio of Vitamin C derivatives (including Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate), the pads deliver a gentle (perf for sensitive skin), yet effective dose of the powerhouse ingredient. No hassle of mixing, layering, or worrying about oxidation.
Paired with gentle AHAs and BHAs to refine skin's tone and texture, this formula delivers clarified tone, improved and the most radiant of dewy casts. Winter dullness be damned.
Cc TikTok, users are opting to leave the pads on sitting atop of skin for 10-15 minutes for a chic mini mask moment. Because I can't resist a cheeky beauty hack (especially when it comes from the likes of BeautyTok), I've been trialling this method and have found it to be equal parts effacious and enjoyable.
I've been applying this in the morning pre Deep Vita C Capsule Cream, and have found the duo leave my skin looking immediately fresher and more alive. I've also noted a slight fading of some sun spots and unwanted pigmentation. Very promising!
Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask Review

A true skin-novation (I think I've just coined a new term?). I've been working in the beauty industry for 7 years and have never seen anything quite like this.
It's a leave-on overnight mask (standard but love) but unlike other overnight masks that typically resemble a slick moisturiser this gloopy gel texture dries down to form a film atop of skin. Unique, innovative, fun!
It reminds me of those peel off masks that trended circa early 10s (the ones that sounded good in theory, less so in practice), but elevated, luxe and actually science-backed.
The breathable film does wonders to lock in hydration and is dosed with all those firming ingredients like collagen, peptides, and anti-wrinkle actives to plump to the gods. Waking up, my skin feels lifted, plush and bouncy - no tautness or squeakiness. Long term results suggest smoother texture and improvement to those visible signs of ageing (eg. better looking wrinkles).
I'm not exaggerating when I say this is a b-line hack to the glassiest, dewiest and plumpest your skin will ever look. I'm hooked.
