Double The Glow With Two Of Kora Organics' Cult Face Masks

I'm calling this my multi-masking era. Where one face mask is simply not enough.
I'm now looking to multiple formulas to address different skin concerns within the one routine.
Practically this looks like consecutive use (one after the other), alternating daily and sometimes even spot treating (eg. cheeks and chin are coaxed in different formulas at the same time).
Multi-masking allows you to treat specific areas or concerns helping your skin look balanced and refreshed.
My latest power-pairing is the Kora Organics' OG Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask, followed by the utterly smooth Milky Mushroom Ultra Hydrating Mask. The two together is skin heaven.
I'm dubbing it my two-pronged approach to pursuing luminous, gleaming skin. And so far - it's working!

KORA Organics Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask
Launching with the brand's core line in 2009, this glow-getting hybrid (can be used as a mask and physical exfoliant) has amassed a cult-following and it's a no-brainer as to why. Who wouldn't want to possess the same sunshine-bright complexion as the brand's founder and supermodel Miranda Kerr? I definitely do! Miranda has regularly touted the mask as being the secret behind her ambient glow.
The radiance-boosting treatment heroes Turmeric, which has long been harnessed in skincare for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Turmeric is the gold-standard when it comes to combating pigmentation, uneven tone and dullness. It's what gives skin that otherworldly warm glow post-mask.
The formula is dosed with more natural-ingredient-goodness like Aspen Bark to improve skin's texture, Coconut Oil to nourish/soften/hydrate, Aloe Vera to soothe and Rosehip oil to improve the appearance of scarring and fine lines.
The exfoliant element of the mask is thanks to the inclusion of Mineral Powder, which helps to exfoliate (removing dead skin cells), clarify and smooth texture.
To note: you can feel the exfoliating whilst washing off. If you skew on the sensitive skin side (like me), I'd suggest removing gently. It can sometimes leave skin a little flushed afterwards.
From the vibrant colour to the creamy paste texture (with exfoliating bead ), this feels like the kind of mask you'd see donned in a rom-com. It feels invigorating on the skin and starts to dry down after the 10 minute mark. Bonus points for smelling like a botanical dream with hints of peppermint.
And voila! your brightest, most radiant complexion is revealed. With regular use, you'll also note improved texture and balance to the skin.

How to use Kora tumeric mask:
Massage into damp skin while avoiding eye area. Leave on for 5-15 minutes to let the enzymes work their magic. Remove with water in circular motions to exfoliate. For added exfoliation, remove with damp cloth.Use 2-3 times weekly for optimum results.You may notice a little bit of redness after use (I did!), due to the increased circulation. No need to worry, redness should subside after 15-20 minutes
KORA Organics Milky Mushroom Ultra Hydrating Mask
Little else brings me quite as much joy as going to bed slugged up (ie. with my face slathered in an gloopy overnight sleeping mask) and waking up with ridiculously fresh, plump skin. The bouncier and dewier, the better.
So, I gravitate towards these ultra-hydrators any chance I can. Kora's milky mushroom formula is one I find myself regularly reaching for (particularly right after using the Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask).
For starters, it's gloopy (in the best way possible) and the silky gel texture feels instantly soothing on the skin. Whilst overnight usage is my preference (I like to wake up resembling a dewy dumpling), I've found the 15 minute wear time is equally great for calming skin before makeup application.
The formula is packed with known moisture-boosters like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, and niche botanicals like Silver Ear Mushroom (a natural hyaluronic acid alternative) that increases skin hydration and firmness and Coconut Milk which is rich in fatty acids to soften and soothe dry skin. Kora's beloved, antioxidant-rich Noni Fruit Extract is included to brighten and boost skin’s natural radiance. Brighten and boost it does!
