As someone who’s long been a fan of K and J-beauty, it’s no surprise that Japanese and Korean skincare staples often sneak their way into my routine.
So when I got the chance to trial and review the new Hada Labo Lifting range, it was a no-brainer.
I went into this trial without many expectations - other than hydration, of course - because that’s what Hada Labo is best known for (that, and the fact that one bottle of its cult-favourite lotion sells every three seconds in Japan).
What I didn’t expect, however, was how much I’d end up loving this range - not just for its moisture-boosting powers, but for how gently it introduced me to the world of anti-ageing skincare.
As someone who believes in using preventative skincare to slow down accelerated signs of ageing, this felt like the perfect gateway.
It’s packed with hydrating ingredients for my skin barrier (so perfect for all skins and ages that require extra hydration) - think hyaluronic acid and soy isoflavones - and it delivers results without irritation, tackiness or heaviness.
Let's find out more...

Step 1: Hada Labo No-Wrinkles Lotion Super 3D Hydrator, $39.95

Following the recommended routine, I started with the No-Wrinkles Lotion Super 3D Hydrator.
Having used the original and best-selling No.1 Super Hydrator in the past (and loving its plumping effect), I was curious to see how this would compare — and it honestly felt like a level-up.
The first surprise? The texture. While I was expecting a watery consistency (something I could easily layer as a first step), this lotion is actually thicker - almost like a serum.
It felt slightly tacky at first, but after a few pats, it melted into my skin in no time, leaving it hydrated and ready for the next layer.

Step 2: Hada Labo Lift 3D Lifting Serum, $39.95

Next up was the 3D Lifting Serum, and this might be my favourite of the trio.
It has a thinner, silkier texture than the lotion, but the payoff is immediate. My skin seemed to drink it up the moment I applied it - leaving behind that healthy, lit-from-within glow.
After a week of consistent use, I noticed some of the fine lines around my eyes - mainly from tiredness - looked softer and less noticeable.
My complexion also looked more even and plump, giving that “freshly washed, refreshed face” kind of look.

Step 3: Hada Labo No-Wrinkles Cream, $39.95

To finish, I sealed everything in with the No-Wrinkles Cream. Texture-wise, I’d say it’s quite rich and heavy - definitely one I’d reach for as a night-time moisturiser.
For daytime, I’d probably opt for something lighter, but as a night cream, it’s great. It’s thick enough to lock in moisture, yet not too thick that it leaves your face feeling sticky when you lie on a pillow.
What are the Hada Labo no wrinkles cream ingredients? Like the rest of the range, it’s powered by multiple forms of hyaluronic acid to deliver deep, layered hydration, while soy isoflavones work to support collagen production and improve elasticity over time.
It did take some time for the cream to seep into my skin but my skin definitely felt softer and more hydrated the next day from all that extra moisture.

Final Thoughts...

If you’re someone starting to think about preventative skincare but don’t want to jump straight into potent actives or retinols, the Hada Labo No-Wrinkle Range is a great entry point.
It delivers serious hydration, supports elasticity, and gives your skin that smooth, plump look.
It’s gentle, effective, and true to what Hada Labo does best: simple formulas that deliver real hydrating results at an affordable price.
