If bed rotting was an Olympic sport, I’d take home the gold.
There’s not much I won’t do from my mattress; eat, work, sleep, taxes…
But do you know what I love to do most from my bed? Skincare.
The germaphobes are no doubt dry-reaching imagining the state of my sheets, and to those I say don’t knock it ‘till you try it. And Napisan works wonders, my friends.
There’s just something in nourishing your skin and hair with luscious products right before bed, like a luxurious body oil that makes you feel like a million bucks.
Bedtime beauty products truly put the ‘beauty’ in ‘beauty sleep’. They do their best while you literally do nothing at all–the dream, right?
For those for whom sleep is a luxury – parents, students, corporate-y types, my sister (a soon-to-be mum of three, under three) – allow these hard workers to step in for the night shift to ensure you wake up fresh and radiant, even if you’re feeling anything but.
Ahead, you’ll find all sorts of sumptuous stuff. Some spendy, some splurge.
There are masks for your face, lips, and eyes. Some tender-loving treatments for your tresses, too. I’ve also thrown in a couple of body oils for good measure.
That’s right, we’re going head to toe henney.
Face Mask.

If your face feels tight, dry or irritated, consider switching your night cream for a rich, more occlusive overnight mask.
Cleanse, tone and apply your serums per usual, before following with a generous amount of your mask of choice.
It has a deeply hydrating formula containing pure Australian Jojoba, a natural wax ester that works to nourish, plump and soothe skin for a healthier complexion.
Another dry skin staple, this is a creamy, oil-free mask that works around the clock to replenish moisture lost while we sleep.
Or, if your budget permits, the
Medik8 H.E.O. Mask.
A favourite of our
Senior Beauty Editor Sadaf, the two-step overnight mask contains the three essential pillars of hydration – Humectants, Emollients and Occlusives – to nourish, seal and protect the skin barrier.
Don’t forget to massage the mask into your neck and décolleté, too.
Lip Mask.

There’s nothing worse than waking up with chapped, cracked lips.
Like our skin, our lips can become dehydrated while we sleep, particularly if you’re a mouth breather.
You can probably guess which product I’m about to recommend. Its reputation precedes itself.
Of course, it’s none other than the
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask 20g.
Famous for its deeply rejuvenating formula, this lip mask pampers your pout while you sleep so it's soft and smooth come morning.
Alternatively, the
Lanolips 12 Hour Overnight Lip Mask 15g is a slightly more affordable option that’s just as hydrating.
Anchored by 100% pure-grade lanolin, famed for its ability to hold up to 400 times its weight in moisture, this nourishing, non-slip formula cocoons lips for 12 hours to leave them stronger, smoother and juicier.
Eye Mask.

They say the eyes are the window to the soul, so why not give off the illusion of cool, calm and collected, even if the opposite is true?
Whether you’re looking for preventive products or an antidote to crow’s feet, there are a whole slew of skincare products out there that can help.
This multi-tasker features bakuchiol (a
natural retinol alternative that’s pregnancy-safe), peptides and orchid stem cells to improve the look of fine lines, uneven tone, dark circles and puffiness.
What’s more, this quiet achiever also contains a calming lavender aroma to set you up for a restful night’s sleep.
Alternatively, for mature skin showing advanced signs of ageing consider the
Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Treatment.
This potent formula acts like shapewear for the eyes, helping to reduce the appearance of deep-set lines and wrinkles while visibly lifting and firming droopy, sagging eyelids and folds.
It harnesses the power of encapsulated retinal, a highly effective form of vitamin A, as well as gentian root extract and oat sugar extract to amplify the retinal's benefits.
Hair Treatment.

Ready for a truth bomb? Your scalp ages up to six times faster than your face (!!).
Over time, it becomes less efficient at delivering the nutrients your hair needs to thrive. Hence, healthy hair starts at the scalp.
Hair oiling is one way to strengthen strands at the root.
The traditional Ayurvedic method involves massaging a few drops of hair oil into your roots to stimulate blood flow and encourage new growth.
You can either leave the hair oil in for 30 minutes or overnight for deeper hydration. Just be sure to wash it out in the morning.
You could also use a
hair wrap to avoid the product transferring onto your pillow.
How often you oil your hair really depends on its thickness and how much oil your scalp naturally produces. Typically once a week is a good starting point.
This no-fuss treatment can be applied through the middle and ends of dry or towel-dried hair without rinsing. Simply work it through 2-3 times a week to restore softness and shine.
Body Oil.

You didn't really think we forgot about the skin below your neck, did you?
If you've been neglecting it, consider this your sign to start taking your body care seriously.
The skincare category is growing at speed, with more and more dropping on Adore Beauty almost daily to rejuvenate dehydrated and ashy skin.
That said, the best body products are the ones you’ll actually use. Those luxurious formulas that feel like a dream on the skin, and that you can’t wait to apply.
Massage this bougie botanical oil into clean skin for heavenly hydration.
You could also add a couple of drops to your bathtub, or mix them with a body balm to spread its nourishing goodness from neck to toe.
Alternatively, save yourself 10 bucks and pick up the
Weleda Harmonising Body Oil - Wild Rose, 100ml.
This enriching formula sinks deep into the skin, enveloping it in skin-loving oils high in fatty acids to rejuvenate and regenerate for skin that’s firmer and smoother.
