Few things in the world bring me as much joy as a damn-good facial. And I'm a firm believer that when you experience a facial
that glow-inducing (the kind that makes you want to double-check your reflection) it's your sworn duty to share the news with everyone you know.
So, please meet
Adore Beauty Services. Targeted treatments for every skin type, delivered by dermal therapists who actually live and breathe skin health.
From
cosmeceutical skincare to high-tech clinical treatments, each bespoke service is designed to help you meet your skin goals. Oh, and the cost of the treatment is fully redeemable against product. So, if you're already planning on purchasing a product and follow #girlmath, it's basically free, right?!
I experienced a treatment for myself the other day - and the results were nothing short of
luminous. Here's everything you need to know.

Are Adore Beauty Treatments Worth It?
Well, we may be biased here but, yes - they are!
Adore Beauty facials are performed by our talented team of Qualified Dermal Therapists, who specialise in performing advanced skin treatments. They have experience treating (and managing) skin concerns spanning everything from acne and pigmentation to scarring and signs of aging.
Utilising their expertise, sessions are designed to bridge the gap between relaxation and serious clinical results.
So know, you're in trusted hands.
How To Book An Adore Beauty Treatment?
Adore Beauty Services can be booked either online (
here!) or in person.
Treatment prices start at a very-reasonable $50, with the cost of each service being fully redeemable against products available in store.
Where Can You Get An Adore Beauty Treatment?
Adore Beauty Services take place in a designated treatment room tucked neatly at the rear of each Adore Beauty store location. To find your nearest Adore Beauty Store, check out our handy
Store Locator.
Rest assured, the space - a far cry from the hustle and bustle of retail - resembles that of an tranquil oasis. The space is thoughtfully designed to invoke relaxation the moment the door closes behind you.
Expect calming music, plush (and seriously toasty) linens and a dreamy scentscape that will send you right into a lull.
So, what can you expect from a Adore Beauty facial Treatment?
Well for starters - no two facials are the same.
While the Services menu offers a range of treatment styles, each individual treatment is still quite tailored to suit your skin type and personal skin goals.
I opted for the Advanced treatment; a great option for dehydrated skin, mild acne or those simply wanting to ward off fine lines. The goal of this specific session is to visibly improve clarity and deeply nourish skin.

In short, here's what my treatment entailed -
Your treatment starts with an OBSERV 520x skin analysis, followed by a deep cleanse and tailored enzyme or chemical exfoliation. You’ll then either rest under a corrective LED light therapy mask or your dermal therapist will perform a signature facial massage. To finish, a bespoke treatment mask is applied, along with cosmeceutical skincare and a CC cream to highlight your fresh glow.
Yep, all that fits into a tidy 60 minute appointment slot. And for those results? Well worth it!
Adore Beauty Facial Treatment Review:

Here's a little more detail on my personal experience!
We started by chatting through my skin history, concerns, current routine, before popping my face into the Observ 520 Diagnostics machine.
This tech works by capturing light at different depths and wavelengths to reveal what’s happening beneath the surface. There are a few different things it evaluates such as vascular activity (redness), bacterial signatures, oil flow, and the depth of pigmentation. It replaces any guesswork with scientific data and provides a baseline to track progress.
There were some things I had suspected; like increased oil flow in the t-zone and underlying sun damage (I have a sabbatical in Mexico without proper SPF to thank). Other things I hadn't clued into... like dehydration around my forehead. The dermal therapist suggested overuse of my Salicylic Acid cleanser might be to blame....
On a brighter note, I'd also like to take a second to brag (and thank my religious use of
Retinol) that the scans revealed my fine lines were minimal.
After careful analysis (and thorough explanations from my dermal therapist!), we both had a better grasp on the true condition of my skin. From there, she was able to prescribe a skincare routine taking into consideration my skin type, underlying concerns, lifestyle and skin goals.
She (for the most part) co-signed my current routine, but suggested I upped the ante with tyrosinase inhibitors. They're an umbrella of ingredients that work to prevent overactive pigment production. She suggested these will help keep that underlying pigmentation (sun damage) at bay before it makes its way to the surface.
I didn't hesitate before adding a
Aspect Pigment Punch+ to cart.

We then moved onto the utterly relaxing, try-not-to-completely-fall-asleep portion of the treatment.
She started with an emulsifying balm to melt away the day (including stubborn mascara), then followed with a lightweight, lathering gel cleanser. She worked this into the skin using deep, rhythmic motions that felt equal parts calming and invigorating.
Next up was the enzyme exfoliation. There was a slight tingling sensation to this one, but it dissipated pretty quickly. Whilst it sat, working away at dead skin cells, my dermal therapist performed a neck and shoulder massage that felt like it hit each and every tension point. The enzyme treatment was then removed with a steamed towel - how lush!
I then sat under a medical-grade LED panel. This used red light therapy, which is great for stimulating collagen, reducing inflammation and accelerating skin healing. I'm a big fan of LED light therapy generally (I use
Therabody Theraface Glo Mask nightly) so this was right up my alley.
Post-LED, my dermal therapist applied a high-powered mask designed to brighten skin and lock in moisture.
She finished by pressing in an A-star lineup of cosmeceutical serums, moisturiser and SPF before offering me a herbal tea - it's the small things, right?!

Verdict:
As you can (hopefully) see from my after pics featuring slightly dishevelled strands (a hallmark of all good facials); my skin looks bouncy, bright and genuinely healthy.
I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed the treatment. The glow and the confidence it imparted were unmatched. And yes, this may just be my new monthly shopping ritual.
