Givenchy makeup has officially landed at Adore Beauty and we could not be more excited!
If you’ve been living under a rock and Givenchy beauty is new to you, all you need to know is that Givenchy as a brand are all about blending French elegance with sophisticated innovation and spoiler alert: their products definitely live up to the hype.
My Givenchy Beauty Top Picks.
First and foremost, I almost always try concealers and foundations when a new range comes out, so this time I wanted to change things up and explore products I wouldn’t be as likely to try - cue the VIRAL Prisme Libre 4-Color Loose Powder as well as a lip combo I’ve quickly become OBSESSED with.
1. GIVENCHY Prisme Libre 4-Color Loose Powder.

Before we jump into my review of the powder I need to start with a caveat - I am SUPER fussy when it comes to powders and in general, steer clear from any sort of setting/baking techniques especially when it comes to my under eyes.
With this being said, I had seen the
GIVENCHY Prisme Libre 4-Color Loose Powder 10g ALL over my FYP on TikTok after Kylie Jenner raved about her favourite setting powder on Vogue, so, for the sake of beauty I knew to put it to the test.
First let’s talk packaging, as soon as you open this powder it immediately screams luxury with a glossy black top engraved with a 4G monogram of the Givenchy logo.
Once you open the powder you will see the four corrective shades sectioned out with a cleverly crafted sieve that distributes powder from each shade.
It also includes a face puff which can be used for at home or on the go application.
Fun fact: This powder actually turns 16 this year. Wind the clock back to Givenchy circa 1989 where this was the first signature 4-colour powder, inspired by the science of colour-correction and speaking to Givenchy’s vision on the harmony of colour. From here, Givenchy makeup was born!
Let’s run through some more fast facts:
Luminous soft matte finish.
Works to set makeup for 12+ hours.
Immediate 4-colour correction that works to blur imperfections.
Ultra-fine light weightless texture.
Water-resistant, smudge-proof, mask-proof.
7 shades designed for every skin tone.
Suitable for all skin types.
My GIVENCHY Prisme Libre 4-Color Loose Powder review:
I actually tried this powder for the first time ever on camera (see below) and you can see my genuine astonishment at how good this powder really is.
I applied a decent amount using the face puff provided and instantly saw a brightened, blurred and smoothed effect.
One of the reasons that I generally steer clear from powders is the matte/chalky residue they can leave on the skin, however, this genuinely is a super light texture that amalgamates cream and powder products effortlessly.
Now you might be wondering how a powder can have both a luminous and matte finish?
Givenchy have been able to combine light-reflecting pearls with a soft-focus powder that works to mattify sheen/shine whilst leaving the skin with an effortless glow.
Available in 7 shade combinations, finding your perfect match shouldn’t be too hard.
I will say though that the shades are super flexible, as I’ve been able to cycle between shades N01 and N03 and found they worked well with looks depending on if I wanted a brighter undereye or a more seamless transition.
You can apply this using the face puff provided or with a powder brush from your kit - the choice is yours!
My next top pick was a lip combo because I cannot leave the house without adding some sort of sheen to my pout! First step was a long lasting lippy.
2. GIVENCHY Le Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick.

Starting off the lip look with one of Givenchy’s newer couture lipsticks, the
GIVENCHY Le Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick 2.7g is buttery soft with an impressive colour pay off.
Before we jump into the nitty gritty, I of course have to touch on the packaging that features a super sleek pocket-sized bullet with a leather case that’s adorned in the iconic 4G Givenchy monogram and silver toned edges.
What else you need to know:
This Givenchy lipstick has a rich, creamy colour payoff.
Infused with lip-loving ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter.
Luminous satin finish.
Hydrating, comfortable formula.
Long-lasting colour that aims to stay radiant for six hours.
Elegant couture-inspired packaging.
My GIVENCHY Le Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick review:
Not only did this lippy look great on the lips but it felt like a comforting balm.
Even after hours of wear, I felt like my lips still had a healthy hue and the caring formula meant that my lips felt hydrated all day long.
I opted for shade N°114 Nude Amande which is an almond nude with warm undertones.
As the formula has a silky satin finish, I also think this could also double as an excellent cream blush if you were looking to create a tonal look.
3. GIVENCHY Rose Perfecto Liquid Lip Balm.

To finish off the look I dipped into the
GIVENCHY Rose Perfecto Liquid Lip Balm 6ml in shade N001.
Something fun that I found out about this range is that shade 001 actually adapts to the specific pH of your lips, creating a unique, custom vibe!
For me, this shade went on completely transparent at first and then developed into a soft pinky hue, which I loved.
The facts you want to know:
Deeply hydrating formula enriched with hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C & shea butter.
Glossy finish with a hint of colour.
Leaves lips smooth and plump.
Lightweight, comfortable texture.
Shade 001 adapts to your pH for a custom shade.
My GIVENCHY Rose Perfecto Liquid Lip Balm review:
This felt super hydrating and comfortable on the lip and I loved the innovative formula!
I have worn this both as a stand alone gloss as well as on top of lippy/with a lip liner and it looks fab in both settings.
Whilst glosses can sometimes leave the lips feeling dryer than they were before application, this formula is enriched with 97% skincare ingredients* including hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, shea butter, and pink pepper for a nourishing, smoothing, and plumping effect.
*Minimum percentage of the liquid balm base in order to hydrate before adding coloring ingredient
Final Thoughts...

If I had to wrap up my thoughts on Givenchy beauty I’d say that it is a really exciting line that definitely lives up to the hype!
Whilst I have been loving the powder, lippy and glosses, I’m excited to take the foundations and concealers for a spin next.
If you’re looking for a bougie beauty investment that will amp up your beauty routine, I think it’s time to give Givenchy a go!
