If you’re yet to be introduced to Guerlain, think of them as French beauty royalty.

The 200-year-old heritage brand is especially known for their iconic fragrances, alongside glow-giving makeup and packaging that makes your everyday beauty routine feel just that little bit chicer.

I was lucky enough to take some iconic Guerlain must-haves for a spin and of course had to share my thoughts.

Since Guerlain are synonymous with iconic fragrances, I of course have to start by spotlighting the Aqua Allegoria range.

When it comes to this stunning Guerlain perfume portfolio, think fresh, luminous scents inspired by the wonders of the natural world.

Every fragrance in the collection is housed in the brand’s signature honeycomb-inspired bottle with gold detailing which makes for an incredibly chic addition to any bathroom vanity.

If your fragrance wardrobe is missing a really good citrus scent, this is probably where I’d start.

Blending juicy mandarin and aromatic basil with green tea and woody notes, it strikes the perfect balance between crisp and warm. Since you (unfortunately) can’t smell through the screen, the easiest way I can describe this scent is that it instantly transported me to drinking limoncello spritzes somewhere along the coast of Italy.

I’d recommend this to anyone who gravitates towards fresh, citrussy fragrances or perfumes that slot effortlessly into everyday life, from office days to weekends away (or, if you’re lucky, a European summer).

For those who prefer something slightly richer, Florabloom leans warmer and more floral while still holding onto that signature Aqua Allegoria brightness.

With notes of tuberose, rose, iris and violet layered over a soft mossy base, it feels a little more polished and statement-making compared to some of the fresher citrus-led scents in the collection.

While still being light enough for everyday wear, Florabloom definitely feels a touch more elevated and would slip seamlessly into an evening fragrance wardrobe.

Introducing flora Flora Cherrysia which is softer, fruitier and a little more playful. This scent is inspired by Japan's centuries-old tradition of enjoying the transient beauty of spring blossoms, particularly (and popularly) cherry blossoms.

With this in mind, it’s no surprise that this fragrance features notes of cherry blossom, pear and watermelon accord. Sitting in the fruity-floral category without feeling overly sweet, it has a fresh, skin-like quality that makes it incredibly easy to wear.

If you gravitate towards feminine fragrances that still feel light, airy and effortless, this is likely to be your standout from the collection.

While fragrance may be what Guerlain is best known for, the brand’s beauty lineup is equally deserving of the spotlight, here are some must-haves I think you should know about:
