A Makeup Artist’s DIOR Routine Including Three Exciting New Glow-Getting Products

From the stunning packaging to the high-performance products, I am well and truly hooked on this bougie beauty train.
With this in mind, when I heard that DIOR had released a range of new and improved products that aim to achieve the ultimate glow, I knew that I was the perfect person to road-test them.

DIOR Forever Nude Bronzer.
For those looking for a seamless matte bronzer, let me introduce you to the new and improved Dior Forever Nude Bronzer. Think of this as the ultimate long-lasting powder bronzer.
Here are some quick facts:
- Infused with hyaluronic acid and a vitamin C derivative.
- Natural Matte finish.
- Available in 8 shades.

My DIOR Forever Nude Bronzer review:
Despite the bougie price tag, I can quickly see this becoming one of my favourite bronzers.
Brining just the right amount of warmth to my skin, the matte formula lends itself to a multi-tasking hero as it can be used on cheeks as well as lids to create the perfect tonal look.
Apply with a powder brush and watch how seamlessly it blends onto the skin, I think this would be suitable for beauty newbies, all the way through to makeup aficionados.
Unlike other matte finish products, it doesn't leave the skin looking dull or chalky but instead adorns the skin with a natural radiance.
DIOR Forever Star Glow Filter.
Introducing DIOR’s latest base product, the DIOR Forever Star Glow Filter.
This multitasking hero is a super lightweight complexion enhancer that will work to blur, smooth and brighten whilst hydrating the skin for 24H*. *Instrumental test on 30 subjects.

- Light coverage that works to even out skin tone and add a luminous glow to the skin.
- Infused with Iris Extract, Dior Forever Face makeup’s signature skincare ingredient which helps deliver hydration* . *Instrumental test on 30 subjects.
- Can be used as a standalone complexion product, as a primer, mixed into foundation, applied before foundation or applied to high points of the face after foundation.

My DIOR Forever Star Glow Filter review:
Having tried A LOT of glowy complexion products over the years, I can genuinely say I haven’t tried a product that is an exact match to this.
It offers the lightweight glow that a primer would, however, I really enjoyed wearing this as my standalone base (in lieu of foundation).
It blends super easily into the skin and the most amazing thing that I found was that as the day progressed, I fell more in love with how the Star Glow Filter looked.
The skin-like texture seemed to settle effortlessly onto my skin, leaving my face with the perfect natural glow which is super rare for a lightweight complexion product that would usually end up looking patchy or worn off after hours of wear.
Best way to apply DIOR Forever Star Glow Filter?
I trialled using a flat buffing brush, a paddle foundation brush as well as plain old fingers and all three methods allowed the Star Glow Filter to glide effortlessly onto the skin.
This product would be perfect for anyone who is after a multipurpose complexion hero that ramps up the glow in their skin.
I personally love wearing this as a standalone foundation, however, I do have to put in a disclaimer that this is a SUPER lightweight and low-coverage product.
With this in mind, if you’re after a medium-full coverage look, I would recommend using DIOR Star Glow Filter as a skin prep step and then go in with DIOR Forever Skin Glow Foundation over the top.
DIOR Forever Glow Maximizer.
Now that our base is done, it’s time for cheeks.
That's where the DIOR Forever Glow Maximizer comes into play.
This product has been described as a true concentration of light in a bottle, working to brighten and enhance your complexion whilst leaving an instant yet long-lasting glow on the skin.
Fast facts:
- Multipurpose Glow Maximisers that can be used as a bronzer, blush, highlighter and or liquid shadow.
- Infused with iris extract which works to hydrate skin for 24 hours.
- Available in six shades that retail for $79 each.
My DIOR Forever Glow Maximizer review:
This highlighter is infused with ultra-fine luminous pearly pigments, with the liquid formula making it super easy to blend into the skin, without disrupting makeup underneath.
You can wear these highlighters as a standalone product on bare skin, or, as a glowy finishing product to your makeup look.
The DIOR Forever Glow Maximizers are super multipurpose, offering the ability to be applied as a highlighter, bronzer, blush or liquid shadow over the lid.
One of my favourite things about these liquid maximisers is the doe foot applicator!
Having the ability to gently place the product onto my face is something that I really enjoy, but I will say that a little bit goes a long way with these highlighters, so start small and build up where needed.
I like to apply a pea-sized dot of product to each cheek and then lightly buff this into the skin using a flat-top complexion blending brush.
If you find that applying liquid blushes/bronzers straight from the product applicator tends to move your makeup underneath, I do have an artist tip for you.
Simply decant some of the product onto the back of your hand, and then pick up the product on a blending brush and buff the Glow Maximiser into your skin for a seamless look.
DIOR Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick.
Introducing the multi-use Dior Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick. This leaves the skin with a true naturally blurred finish, think your skin but that little bit better.

My DIOR Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick review:
"You could definitely build this foundation up to a medium/full coverage but can also achieve a light coverage if you buff the product out.
This did a great job at evening out my complexion, slightly blurring imperfections whilst leaving my skin feeling light and hydrated.
Super versatile, if you want it to double as a concealer you absolutely can, making it my top pick for travelling."
DIOR Rouge Blush Sculpt and Glow Palette.
If you're after the perfect blush-glow palette this is pretty much everything you've most likely been searching for.

My DIOR Rouge Blush Sculpt and Glow Palette review:
Dually packed with a matte blush shade and a multi-dimensional shimmer highlighter, this is the palette that does it all.
I love the flush that the blush shade gives to my cheeks, whilst pearlescent pigments worked to deliver the perfect radiant finish.
For those with drier skin types that can sometimes feel nervous about using a powder blush, this formula is infused with gel (a signature DIOR innovation) to allow for a weightless yet hydrating finish.
Final Verdict.
These products would be PERFECT for anyone looking to invest in the perfect glowy items to add to their makeup kit.
All are extremely versatile, being able to be used on multiple different areas on the face as well as in various ways.
A little bit goes a long way and whilst the price tag is on the higher end, these products are extremely considered and really deliver what they say they will.
If you want products that deliver an effortless glow AND look amazing on your bathroom vanity (or in your professional kit) I can’t recommend these highly enough!
