When I was asked to review the
MAKE UP FOR EVER HD SKIN ALL-IN-ONE PALETTE - Shade H2 was super excited and I couldn’t wait to get my brushes in them and see what all the hype was about for this trending TikTok palette.
Palettes are a Make Up Artists best friend because they are the ultimate space saver.
Over the years I have spent hours decanting creams and liquids in an attempt to overhaul my kit so I can have more products but carry less weight.
It really is a neverending task to carry more but less all at the same time!
When I finally got my hands on the Make UpForever HD All-In-One Palette I immediately thought, could this be kit worthy?
I also wondered how well will the shades blend? Are the blushes too pigmented? Will these shade work for all skin tones?
My mind was going wild with questions.
They claim this multi-use cream palette has all you need for a full-face complexion routine… lets find out and put this pretty palette to the test!

How to Use MUFE HD Skin All-In-One Palette.

At first glance these palettes could look a little overwhelming, but think of them as a (make up) artist palette, you can personalise the shades and tailor them exactly to your own skin tone.
Everyone has different tones within their complexion, this palette allows you to blend and create the exact shades you need.
For Colour Correcting

This is my first step, with your skin being bare, you can really see what you want to color correct.
For me, it's just under my eyes, so mixed the two correcting shades to neutralise the blue tones under my eyes.
For Foundation

Using a synthetic flat brush, apply the foundation from the center of the face and blended outwards.
You can pre mix the shades on the back of your hand if you need to create the exact tone for your skin.
For Concealing
I used a small beauty sponge for the concealer, and dabbed it into the palette then directly onto my skin.
Again, you can mix and create the perfect concealer shade for your skin tone.
For Contouring

Determine your face shape and what areas you want to sculpt on your face. Select the undertone from the two contouring shades that suits your skin.
You will see there is one warm and one cool tone in the palette. These creams blend so easily together, you can create a really flawless and natural looking contoured complexion.
For Blush
The two blush shades apply well and aren't too pigmented, you can use a synthetic bristle brush for an airbrushed application.
Lightly blend the blush in circular motions on the apples of the cheek and then blend into your cheek contour.
For Highlighting
Using a flat brush or your fingertips, gently tap the highlighting cream onto the high plains of your face- cheekbones, inner corner of the eye, cupids bow, bridge of your nose.
I found a little goes a long way with these creamy bases. I think I used too much and once I had layered everything on my skin it became a little too heavy and too creamy.
Another tip, try to switch to brushes with smaller heads, then it will fit into the product squares and you wont end up with the wrong shade on your face.
My MUFE HD Skin All-In-One Palette Review.

These aluminium palettes open up like a book and close securely.
They are convenient to pop into your bag if your on the go and great if you want to touch up throughout the day, you wont really need too though.
I found this lasted really well on my skin, I worn it out on a 10 hr day. I did notice it went a little too creamy… like really shiny.
Yes, my skin felt hydrated, but I would suggest using a little powder through the center of your face to knock out any shine or have blotting sheets handy throughout the day, even of you have slightly dry skin.
Im not going to lie, I was borderline disco ball by the end of the day.
I like the colour range in the palettes, however I would have liked to see a coral/peach or more warm blush shade, I found both blush option a little too pinky for my taste.
Final Verdict…
This pro-inspired palette would be ideal for people who likes to experiment with their make up and prefers everything in once spot so they can do their make up on the go.
I would probably consider taking this on holiday, I’d have everything in one handy compact and then I could adjust my foundation shade as needed.
This kind of palette can really take you through all seasons with our ever changing skin tones.
It really is a face in a case!
