This Oil Changed My Relationship With My Hair
I started my career at Adore Beauty as Category Manager, in the Brands team (always a love for brand and product) and am now the COO leading Brands, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams. I love niche hair care that treats, and nourishes, through quality ethical ingredients. I’m also particularly passionate about skincare that targets anti aging.
I’ve always hated my natural hair. It’s very fine, curly underneath and a weird, straight, kind of fluffy on the top. Before ghd was introduced to the Australian market in 2001, I was using a clothes iron to straighten it (am I showing my age?) It was a two person job, but it worked... in a fry-the-F-out-of-your-hair kind of way.
Fast forward 20 years and I was still in an unhealthy relationship with my hair. I had extensions for about 10 years and was constantly heat styling my poor depleted strands.
