We often brag (rightfully so) about the wide range of excellent cosmeceuticals we house here at Adore Beauty, but something that doesn’t get as much recognition is how many excellent and high-performing hair ranges we carry.
Sure, there’s the haircare icons (show-offs) like
Kérastase Elixir Ultime and the
Virtue Recovery shampoo and conditioner; they’re always getting their well-deserved moment in the spotlight, but what about entire ranges?
Maintenance-wise, they make so much sense. Just buying the whole routine instead of a gazillion different products, five of which you'll most likely never use again.
If you’ve reached the part of your hair care journey where you want to shop a whole range suited to your hair type rather than fruitlessly shopping for fifty different products, then you’ll definitely find some inspo in this article.
Just like our skin, our hair is constantly in flux, some seasons it’s more dry, some seasons it’s more brittle and lacklustre, so I asked some of our AB Staffers which ranges their tresses are currently trying and loving at the moment…
Best hair care range for dry hair? Best hair range for coloured hair?
From the best-selling French luxury house of Kérastase and the protein building heroes of Virtue to the powerful repairing saviours from Wella, there’s a well-rounded range to suit your hair type and concerns.
1. Sadaf, Senior Beauty Editor.

What: Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair range.
Good for: those with coloured and damaged hair that need almost-instant results.
Why I'm loving it:
Even though I JUST recommended you start shopping ranges rather than fifty different products, I'm guilty of this myself. And with full transparency, I'm human and I’ll probably keep doing it.
That's because as a beauty editor I like to try ALL the things even if they mess up my skin and hair (how else will I know if it's good or not?)
However, If I was shopping for a full range - it would be the Wella Ultimate Repair range.
I recently used all the products in the range (
read my review here) and let me tell you, it actually shocked me.
I didn't think it was going to be *that* good, but just click on the article to see how it instantly lifted and revived my mum’s dull, coloured and brittle hair after only ONE WASH.
I don't have coloured hair so I can't speak to that, but the reason it's a standout hair range for me, is because whenever I use it and then blow dry my hair, it gives my tresses a salon-like finish (sleek, smooth, and bouncy).
I actually gave the range to my mum after the article because it’s so good for coloured hair, but then I ended up buying the shampoo, conditioner and one of the leave-ins again myself.
(That’s how you really know it’s good).
2. Jas, Beauty Editor.

What: Davines NOUNOU range.
Good for: coloured hair and those looking for sustainable products.
Why Jas is loving it:
"I’ve recently re-fallen back in love with the
Davines NOUNOU range after my hairdresser used it in-salon on my newly coloured tresses.
It’s so hydrating, smells delicious and leaves my hair soft and shiny.
I also love Davines’ commitment to sustainability and their use of natural ingredients in their formulas."

3. Chloe, Brand Partnerships Content Coordinator.

What: L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut Repair Molecular range.
Good for: damaged and weak hair that needs repairing.
Why Chloe is loving it:
"I must confess I have fallen head over heels for the
L'Oreal Professionnel Absolute Repair Molecular range ever since road testing it for
this BIQ article.
I knew I was in love with it when I was using a cheaper range overseas and found endless amounts of breakage on the floors and in the drain, (sorry to my sister in law).
I’d say that this is a range where you would have to use all of the steps together to get maximum results.
Use it consistently and you will notice a difference in your hair within a few uses; the way it looks, the way it feels, it truly strengthens the hair.
I can say with full confidence that after using this range my hair genuinely feels stronger."
4. Megan, Social Media and Content Manager.

What: Kérastase Nutritive range.
Good for: those with severely dry hair that requires intense hydration.
Why Megan is loving it:
Having reviewed the Kérastase Nutritive range for
this BIQ article, Megan found this range to be "a big hydrating hug for dry hair and scalp."
And loved "its ability to add silky soft hydration whilst ensuring that the hair isn’t weighed down or heavy."
She also adds, "The range when used together works to treat AND prevent dryness from the scalp all the way down to lengths and ends.
It would be perfect for anyone that has a dry, dehydrated scalp/hair OR anyone that is feeling like their hair needs some TLC."
