In Partnership With NAK Signature

Somehow, and clearly an omission on my behalf, I've never tried the widely loved NAK Hair Signature range before. The brand have been on my radar for a while (they're Adore Beauty team favourites) and with the freshly revamped line (updated formulas and gorgy packaging), now felt like the perfect time.
Vegan and Australian-made, NAK Hair's wash and styling products are now supercharged with skincare-grade ingredients (straight from your serum cabinet) like peptides and ectoin to deliver healthy, lustrous, salon worthy results.
Here’s my thoughts after putting the range through its paces.

What is NAK Hair Signature Range?

The NAK Hair brand - conjured up by four hair experts - launched in 2003 as one of the first Australian made, vegan haircare brands. Endorsed by stylists globally, the brand touts salon-standard wash and styling products designed to cater to every and all hair types.
Fast forward to today, now NAK Hair is a conglomerate that houses umbrella brands Ori Lab, Roh., and NAK Hair Professional. Each with their own personality (Ori Lab is the cool-girl), ethos and feel.
I like to think of their original line, NAK Signature as the brand’s luxe, 'we have the salon at home' offering. The formulas are scientific, supercharged and mimic the premium results of a salon visit.
This core range has recently undergone a revamp - a mini facelift if you will. A sleek new design paired with a idyllic colour palette (powdery pinks, dreamy blues and mocha mauves) = your dream bathroom aesthetic.
On the inside, it's the same formulas that we know and love, now dosed with even more hair (and skin/scalp) loving ingredients. Peptides and barrier boosting Ectoins in spades.
The updated range continues NAK's environmentally and socially conscious vision with vegan formulas and sustainable packaging as top-of-mind. All NAK bottles are made from PCR HDPE (Post-Consumer Recycled High-Density Polyethylene), a sustainable choice. Also worth mentioning - the range is sulphate and paraben free.

NAK Hair Signature Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner

adore beauty article image
Fast Facts:
  • Suitable for normal to dry and dehydrated hair types
  • Formulated with natural ingredients like Coconut Oil, Pear Extract, Aloe Vera
  • Contains Vitamin E and Vitamin B5 to strengthen and nourish hair
  • Smooths cuticle and controls frizz

Review: Much like my skin, my strands cement themselves firmly on the dry and dehydrated side of the spectrum. A problem when, say, a ghast of cold Winter air sends my already-brittle locks into a frizz-fuelled frenzy.
It's great, however, for layering and loading her up with moisture boosting products. And no matter how much product I use - I veer on the heavy-handed side, always - my hair absolutely laps it up. So I was intrigued to see how this wash duo measured up.
The moment the shampoo foamed up to a creamy, lush lather, I could tell this was a touch above. The formula is brimming with traditional skincare ingredients like Ectoin to lock in moisture and Peptides to reverse damage; as well as hydrating heroes Aloe Vera and Pear Extract.
The silky formula gave my scalp a good, deep clean without leaving it too stripped or taut.
I really enjoyed the consistency of this conditioner too - rich but not too heavy. It glided through my wavy, often-knotty strands with ease. I genuinely felt like it hydrated and smoothed my hair cuticle.
The blend of coconut oil, hydrolysed rice and soy proteins all work in tandem to soften and strengthen hair while Vitamins B5 and A, hydrate and improve moisture retention. For a nourished finish that is shiny and smooth.
After using this combo for a few weeks, my hair felt healthy and more manageable than usual. I did notice a slight reduction in frizz too.

NAK Hair Signature Structure Complex Protein Shampoo & Conditioner

adore beauty article image
Fast Facts:
  • Ultra nourishing and protein-rich formulas
  • Formulated with bond-building technology to strengthen fragile and weak hair
  • Coconut Oil and Aloe Vera to nourish and hydrate
  • Safe for coloured and chemically treated hair
  • Softens and aids with detangling and knot-prone hair

Because I only have one head of hair, I enlisted my lovely co-worker Elena to roadtest this one. Here are her thoughts...
Review: "If sunshine had a scent, this would be it. Think summer in a bottle — fresh, vibrant, and completely addictive. But it's not just a pretty scent.
This duo is the total package: it hydrates, strengthens, protects, and restores — basically your hair's new BFF. Whether you're styling daily or giving your locks some much-needed TLC, this is the ultimate multitasker that delivers real results.
Even my husband couldn't resist. He tried it once… and now it’s his. I’ve officially repurchased it for him 10 times. No joke — it’s become a shower staple.
If you’re after a salon-quality experience that smells divine and actually works, this is your new go-to." - Elena Pavlou

I also roped in my other darling colleague Ada to trial a range. Her remarks are equally glowing (and even sold me!).

Review: "Okay first off I’ve never been wowed by a shampoo and conditioner duo... but Nak’s Nourish range? Consider my socks officially knocked off.
For context: my hair is very processed (aka dry AF most of the time), so when I went to wring out the water and felt zero friction? I nearly shed a tear.
Normally I need a brush on standby just to detangle, but my fingers slid right through like butter. So if this isn't your sign to add to cart (especially for the straw hair girlies) then I don't know what is." - Ada Chau

NAK Hair Signature Ultimate Treatment 60 Second Repair

adore beauty article image
Fast Facts:
  • Easy to use and fast working, 60-second hair mask
  • Hair feels stronger, softer, smoother and bouncier
  • Contains natural ingredients like Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Quinoa Extract and Argan Oil to hydrate, nourish and protect your mane
  • Ideal for coarse, porous and damaged hair

Review: Whilst I loveeeee the idea of hair masks in theory, I often find myself time poor (or too lazy) to actually use them. 10 spare minutes to stand in the shower waiting for it do it's job? Not ideal. But 60 seconds? That, I can do.
And boy does this mighty mask work fast and well. Powered by baobab, quinoa, peptides, and ectoin, it rebuilds vital proteins in strands and boosts hydration levels (like crazy) .
The texture is velvety and rich, boasting an ever-so-slight floral scent.
This one takes the place of a conditioner in your routine, and is best applied once a week. And again, only needs to sit on strands for 1 minute. So. Damn. Quick!
After rinsing, my hair felt notably stronger and smoother without any heavy residue. Imparting a glossy sheen, it primed my locks well for breezy, smooth styling.

NAK Hair Signature Structure Complex No.3 Bond Enhancer

adore beauty article image
Fast Facts:
  • Bond-restoring treatment for damaged, fragile, weak and brittle hair
  • Ideal for dry, fragile hair that is regularly coloured or treated
  • Made with bond-building technology, and natural ingredients like Coconut Oil, Aloe Vera, Hydrolysed Rice Protein and Pear Extract that are gentle on your scalp, mane and the planet
  • Can be used in place of your conditioner once weekly to nourish and add shine

Review: Okay, so I did actually bother to stand in the shower and let this one absorb for the full 10 minutes. Can confirm - it was well worth it.
Ultra repairing, this lush treatment pairs high-powered bond building technology with natural ingredients like coconut oil, hydrolysed rice and soy proteins to give your hair the deepest of conditions.
The technology works by penetrating strands from the shaft to repair broken bonds within the hair's structure, and strengthen from within. Think Olaplex vibes, but vegan and a little more affordable (sorry Olaplex - I still love you!).
It's great for replenishing (and reviving) brittle, colour-treated or damaged strands and is dosed with a hefty amount of Ectoin to build up the hair barrier and protect against environmental stressors.
My frizz-prone hair absolutely drank this up (again, shock to no one) and was left feeling silky and -stronger?!
One Adore Beauty customer reviewed the product and said it’s “probably the best smelling hair product I’ve ever used.” And honestly - same! This is one to try.

NAK Hair Signature Replends Creme Leave in Moisturiser

adore beauty article image
Fast Facts:
  • Provides long-lasting hydration and nourishment to hair
  • Can be used daily and works effectively on damp or dry hair
  • Works as a heat protectant, perfect for blow-drying or straightening hair
  • Contains UV filters to protect hair against environmental damage
  • Suitable for all hair types, including fine, thin, and oily hair

Review: Consider this your all-in-one styling saviour. It delivers moisture, heat protection and detangling in a single, fuss-free step.
The creamy (non-greasy) texture absorbs quickly and was virtually undetectable when applied to damp strands. On dry strands, it was noticeable but didn't leave that crunchy or hard feeling.
I worked a small (a little goes a long way here) amount through my mid lengths to ends and found it made for breezy, more manageable styling. Once dry, the frizz-fighting, softening, shine inducing benefits kicked in thanks to a blend of baobab seed extract, aloe vera, coconut oil and rice protein.
Whether heat styling, air-drying or doing a quick touch up - I found this product saw me through it all. I'm very impressed with its versatility and the smoothed, shiny finish. It's lush!
And circling back re: versatility, I love that the formula is lightweight enough for fine or oily hair, but nourishing enough for drier textures (like mine!) too. All and every hair type!
