My ghd Chronos Styler Review.
I’m not going to lie, I was quite sceptical when it was first mentioned.
Straighteners are pretty straightforward and new tech doesn’t usually impress me.
That was until I felt the ghd Chronos Styler glide through my hair, a similar sensation to cutting butter.
Oh-so smooth and ever-so satisfying.
ghd were not joking when they said one-stroke high-definition results.
I’ve tried other stylers with ceramic plates before and they did leave my hair decently shiny, however the ultra-gloss coating on this one made all the difference.
You can feel it as you're styling and you can definitely see it in the results.
The styler itself feels much smaller and lighter than the Platinum+ and a touch lighter than the ghd original, it's much more round in shape making it a breeze to curl hair.
Nothing will prepare you for the shine it leaves behind. It was as if I ran a rich oil through my hair and let it soak in.
I did pair it with the GHD Bodyguard - Heat Protect Spray 120mL for coloured hair beforehand, which is known to help with a shiner finish.
When using the ghd Chronos you can really see and feel the thought and detail put into this little lightweight tool.
I was genuinely shocked by the results and loved that it was easy to use even when curling.

As someone who has used many, many stylers - I am truly impressed with the ghd Chronos.
Every little detail from the ceramic plates, ultra gloss coating and even the ergonomic design, makes the ghd Chronos so effortless to use.
