You know the expression ‘New hair, new me’?
Well, I can confirm it’s true.
Since joining the ‘Cherry Cola’ club, I’ve felt more like myself than I have in ages.
Not that I didn’t love my former brunette tresses, but my new Dua Lipa-inspired locks just add a certain je ne sais quoi that pairs perfectly with my silly goose state of mind.
As some of you may know, my hair has been on the road to recovery following years of scalp bleaches. And recover they have! At least eight inches.
But as someone who isn’t afraid to dip her toes into trends and experiment with new styles, having the same look for the last year has been about as exciting as watching paint dry.
Hence, I decided now was the perfect time to shake things up.
A last-minute crisis of confidence almost wiped the idea entirely, but thankfully my hairdresser stepped in to squash any shreds of doubt I had, reassuring me that life’s too short for boring hair.
(Not that brunette is boring by any stretch; I just spend far too much time on #
hairtransformationtok.)
So, Catrina, if you’re reading this, this is for you.
Introducing, Evo Fabuloso.

Anyone who has ever coloured or lightened their hair will know the struggle to maintain its vibrancy and health between salon appointments is REAL.
Especially if you don’t have a tonne of money to throw at an after-care routine.
Enter,
evo fabuloso: a hair treatment line designed to refresh, tone, and enhance colour-treated tresses between salon visits.
Before experiencing evo fabuloso, I’d heard whispers around the office of its colour-boosting capabilities. It seemed to be one of those products that if you know, you know.
Beauty expert and fellow burgundy hair-haver
Hannah Collingwood English even dropped by my TikTok comments section to let me know it’s her treatment of choice (we love a non-gatekeeping queen!).
Say less, I thought! If it won Hannah and her cosmetic science genius over, chances are I’ll fall in love too.
Spoiler (to absolutely no one): I did!
But before we get into that, here’s what you need to know about the evo colour treatment:
Boots and revives the vibrancy of colour-treated hair in three minutes.
Nourishes and conditions hair, reducing frizz and dryness.
Helps extend the life of hair colour between salon visits.
Available in 8 shades to cater to various hair colours.
Restores moisture balance for healthy, shiny hair.
Vegan, and ammonia, peroxide and cruelty-free.
Free from sulphates, parabens and gluten.
Here's how to use the evo treatment:
Wash and towel dry hair.
Spread 4-8 pumps through your hair, using either a comb or your fingers depending on your hair’s length.
Wait three minutes.
Rinse until the water runs clear.
Pretty straightforward stuff, eh? Alright–now, let's talk results.
My Evo Fabuloso Colour Boosting Treatment Review.

I’ve been using the evo fabuloso colour-boosting treatment every third or so wash for the past few months and am *obsessed* with how it restores my hair’s shine and enhances its colour.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single time I’ve used it, someone has asked me if I’ve just got it professionally done. Even with brunette roots!
Speaking of regrowth, that’s another reason I’ve been loving the
evo fabuloso purple red colour boosting treatment.
Its ability to soften my roots so they blend more seamlessly is A+ worthy.
Normally I’d count down the days until my next hair colour appointment, but with the evo colour-boosting treatment I started wondering if the follow-up was too soon, or necessary at all.

In hindsight, it was, but I didn’t hate how my regrowth looked by week eight and every time I felt my hair looked flat, the evo treatment stepped in to save the day.
Even my hairdresser noted how fresh it still looked when I sat back down in the chair.
The treatment is rather nourishing, a bonus for dry hair, but still leaves your locks light and bouncy. And I’m super generous with how much I use to ensure I cover every. last. strand.
In terms of how to use the evo treatment, I’ve found it best to wear gloves to avoid being caught red-handed (see what I did there?). Or, if you’re lazy like me, at the very least remove all your jewellery and give your hands a good scrubbin’ afterwards.
Depending on your hair length, 4-8 pumps or a generous squeeze should do the trick. Don’t worry about using too much, this treatment won’t weigh your hair down like regular conditioners can.
Just be careful when applying the colour-boosting treatment that you don’t get any on your walls or tiles as it can stain, so proceed with caution or perhaps have some Gumption on hand.
