Confessions of a Glasshouse Fragrance Fanatic: My All Time Favourite Scents

Glasshouse isn't just a brand to me.
You know the saying ‘Fragrance holds memories’? It’s a treasure trove of memories and emotions.
Let me paint a scene for you: I'm a teenager, all angst and fury, probably upset at my mother for something I was definitely guilty of. I enter a bustling department store in the lead-up to Christmas with my aunty.
Amidst the chaos, I start sniffing the Glasshouse diffusers and catch a whiff of Night Before Christmas, and it's like the world stands still. I was instantly captivated.
My aunt, sensing my connection, surprises me with the diffuser. Returning home, I placed it in the bathroom on top of the toilet, oblivious to the fact that this simple act would mark the start of my obsession.
Every Christmas, it's a ritual, as I take down the Halloween decorations I begin spritzing the Night Before Christmas Interior Fragrance and begin my hunt for the limited edition vessel.

My Favourite Glasshouse Fragrances.
Glasshouse candles are always met with delight when gifted, fought over during Bad Santa, and adored by my mother when she receives her Lunar New Year and Mother’s Day ones.
This probably doesn’t come to you as a surprise but if you can get your hands on any limited edition ones, get it.

Recently, I had the idea of cleaning out the vessels, because they do make really cute storage jars.
When I opened the first candle, A Moment in Tokyo, I felt a rush of nostalgia. I couldn’t do it.
Now, every time a limited edition candle is released I add it to my collection, I know as I work my way through it, I’ll be able to preserve this exact moment in my life in the little, beautifully decorated vessel.
