To say I’m excited about Adore Beauty launching one of the best and most affordable skincare brands with one of the biggest cult followings would be a bloody understatement.
Like you, I was searching 'skin care CeraVe Adore Beauty' for a long time, hoping to manifest it it into reality.
But first...
Why Are People Obsessed With CeraVe?
Chances are you’ve already read about CeraVe products in ‘best beauty product’ list articles.
Or maybe you've seen CeraVe skin care in your Instagram and TikTok feeds.
With so many skincare options out there, it's pretty rare to see a brand universally loved by beauty editors, skin experts, celebs and consumers.
But CeraVe is one such brand.
I’ve personally been an avid user of CeraVe for a few years now.
One of their amazing CeraVe cleansers is my absolute favourite now (more on that in a bit), and I've even seen my dry legs and hands transform since using CeraVe moisturiser.
Even my brother who wants the most simplified routine on the planet always says, “I love CeraVe, it’s the only thing that works for my dry skin."
So, why do Cerave products have such a cult following? Are they worth the hype? Is CeraVe good? Do CeraVe products actually work?

The name stands for 'ceramides', which is the key ingredient in all CeraVe products, and MVE, which is CeraVe's revolutionary delivery system and technology.
CeraVe products are super affordable, with prices ranging from $9.99 to $29.99.
This makes them great for slotting into your existing routine, or creating a beginner skincare routine, but I wouldn't blame you for asking, are these bargain CeraVe products good, for real?

1. CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser.
Why we're obsessed:
If I could dream up the perfect foaming and oil cleanser hybrid, this would be it.
It’s gentle, feels nice to apply, doesn’t strip my skin (thanks to ingredients squalane and triglyceride), and takes off all my makeup without the need to double cleanse.
Usually after I double cleanse, I wipe off any extra makeup or grit with micellar water and there’s always a bit of product still left on my cotton round.
When I use this cleanser, there’s hardly any dirt or makeup on the cotton round.
That’s when I knew this was one of the best cleansers I’ve ever used.
2. CeraVe Daily Moisturising Lotion.
Why we're obsessed:
What is the best CeraVe moisturiser? If you're after an oil-free body moisturiser that’s lightweight and works to strengthen the skin’s protective barrier, then I'd say it's this one.
When looking for which CeraVe moisturiser is best for dry skin, this was at the top of my list.
Nothing has been able to bring my scaly dry-as-the-Sahara-Desert legs back to life more than this CeraVe lotion.
It feels nourishing, without being too heavy or sticky, and it's not scented.
I use it daily after showering and have happily waved goodbye to my scaly legs all year round.
3. CeraVe Reparative Hand Cream.
Why we're obsessed:
Extra hand-washing and hand-sanitising over the last few years have made my hands dryer than normal.
CeraVe Reparative Hand Cream does an excellent job at combating this and makes my hands smoother thanks to the hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, glycerin and dimethicone (which blocks water loss).
This fast-absorbing and nourishing moisturiser for dry, rough hands provides hydration for up to 24 hours.
The tube lives in my handbag so it's always with me for after washing hands.
4. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream.
Why we're obsessed:
Senior Editor Amy Clark rates this affordable hydrating and soothing eye cream, as it's fast-absorbing and can reduce puffiness while also strengthening the skin’s barrier.
"Eye creams aren't a must-have in anyone's skincare routine, but this one is an excellent affordable option if you want to try an eye product out," she says.
"The texture is silky smooth and sinks into the skin beautifully. Pro tip: I keep mine in the fridge and apply in the morning for extra help minimising the look of puffiness, fine lines and dark circles."

This 2-in-1 body and face cleanser is effective enough for oily skin types, but Amy also finds it gentle enough for her dry skin thanks to the ingredients ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.
"This cleanser was recommended to me by a dermatologist and at first, the foaming part put me off because my dry skin usually hates foaming cleansers. This is one is different though!"
