We all have things about our genetic features we're learning to love and embrace.
Mine are my dark under-eye circles.
I’m not talking the slightly shadowy or the ‘I’ve been out the night before’ kind.
I’m talking the genetic, you're born with them and can’t really get rid of them kind.
In fact, you’ll likely find ‘best concealers for dark circles’ at the top of my Google search list.
(Right after ‘can my dog eat this?')
Dark circles are completely normal, and even quite common for those with olive and brown skin tones.
They're often lifestyle or genetics-related, and truthfully, there are very few eye creams or skincare products that can effectively reduce their appearance.
My dark circles are part of me and I love them, but it’s also totally OK for me to want to brighten or cover them with concealers to feel good.
Concealers are one of the best products for dark circles and instantly lifting the face.
So, any time I get the chance to try a concealer to add any kind of coverage to my dark circles, I jump at it!
Enter, the new Bobbi Brown concealer stick!
Bobbi Brown Skin Concealer Stick promises to camouflage dark circles, discolouration and imperfections with an impressive 12 hour wear time.
But does it deliver? We asked 5 AB staffers to put this concealer to the test.
Keep scrolling for our before and after photos to show exactly how this new concealer covers dark circles.

Our Bobbi Brown Skin Concealer Stick Reviews.
This all sounds great, but the proof is in the before and after photos.
We wanted to see how the Bobbi Brown Concealer Stick and Bobbi Brown Skin Corrector Stick worked on different skin tones, skin types and variations of dark circles.
So, we handed them out to five of our Adore Beauty staffers to trial.
Here are their honest thoughts.
Sadaf Razi, Content Producer.

I loved the creamy texture of this concealer stick and the chic, bag-friendly packaging it comes in.
I wasn't sure the concealer stick in shade Golden on its own would be enough to give me the coverage I like, so I enlisted the help of the skin corrector stick in shade Peach to help neutralise the dark green/yellow/brown hues under my eye first.
A few swipes of each stick gave me a really nice medium coverage, but the formula is super buildable. There's no caking or heaviness under the eye either.
Here's an image of one eye without the concealer in bad lighting too.

Covering my dark circles is no easy feat so I appreciate the valiant effort of this Bobbi Brown full coverage concealer.
Personally, I need pretty heavy-duty, full coverage concealers and natural, skin-like concealers aren’t always going to cut it, but this one came pretty close.
While I probably wouldn't use this concealer daily as I have darker circles than most, I love that I can take the easy stick packaging with me for natural-looking touch ups over my foundation.
For the average dark circle-havers, the Bobbi Brown concealer stick delivers the perfect amount of natural coverage needed.
It's great for those who are time-poor and need a quick and efficient tool to wake tired or hollow eyes, without looking like they have too much makeup on.

Bobbi Brown corrector was my first expensive makeup purchase and I’ve always loved it.
The new stick formula is so amazing and creamy, and much less fuss than the pot for this minimal makeup gal.
I could easily wear the Extra Light Bisque shade of corrector on its own for an instantly brighter under-eye area.
On those days I could have had more sleep, I'd layer the concealer in the shade Porcelain over the top for an extra brightened look with a good amount of coverage.
Dalal Mansour, Customer Experience Advisor.

I'm a professional makeup artist (
@dalal.m.makeup) and like so many of my clients, my main concern is my under eye-area.
I find it's dark and quite hollow, so the combination of colour correction and concealing really helps to brighten and “lift” my under-eye area.
The new creamy stick formulas allow a really smooth, seamless and no fuss application for both the concealer and corrector.
For me, I get the best results by applying the product directly from the stick onto my under eyes or area of concern.

The concealer in the shade Honey spoke to me when I first saw the swatches - using my ring finger, I tap and press in the product (the ring finger applies the most gentle pressure) as the warmth in my finger helps to melt the product into my skin.
I tend to use the corrector shade first (I used Peach) to neutralise and brighten the under eye area, then the concealer to blend into my skin tone.
I really love the new packaging as it allows you to specifically apply the product directly on your skin.
Gerard Richardson, Senior Brand Marketing Manager.

This is up there as one of my new favourite concealers (I am trying heaps at the moment).
I love a cream based concealer as I find them so easy to roll on and go.
I am religious with my eye cream application to remove dark circles so for me, I am looking to brighten and blur.
I used to have a cult obsession with another brand that produced a cream based concealer in a stick (not sold by AB) so I am so pleased that Bobbi has stepped in with this alternative.
Definitely on the repurchase list.
Marie Poulos, Customer Experience Supervisor.

I'm really loving this so far, I'm using the shade Natural.
The concealer is awesome for chucking in your handbag or makeup bag because it's so easy to apply around the nose, mouth and eyes!
The corrector in shade 'Bisque' is also great for me - and I would add the other shades to my pro makeup kit for sure.
