You know that character from The Ring movie? The one with the straight, greasy black hair?
Yep, even her hair is more voluminous than my dead straight, super fine, Scandinavian hair.
I literally haven’t had a good hair day since I was born (I barely had any hahaha), and even when I do try to make an effort with my hair, by the time I get to the office, my bouncy curls are flat and my roots look and feel greasy.
In fact, I have to wash and blow dry my hair every single day to keep it fresh. I probably use a bottle of dry shampoo every week.
I’ve tried everything from cutting it shorter, to using every volume product on Earth. But I've FINALLY found the solution.

What is Nioxin?
Thanks to my new hairdresser, I was recently introduced to Nioxin.
If you're wondering, yes, I also associated this brand with balding middle-aged men, but that’s not the case at all.
I don’t have thinning hair (yet). I have fine hair and a decent amount of it, which causes my hair to be really flat, regardless of how I style it - until now.
The brand uses advanced technologies to deliver thicker, fuller, denser-looking hair. There are also six different Nioxin systems in the range, all designed to address different concerns:

I’ve only just learned to master my full on skincare routine, so when I realised I was also going to have a 6-step haircare routine as well, I wasn't thrilled.
However, that mindset quickly changed when I saw instant results which actually lasted.

These products have made my hair so much stronger, so much more voluminous and my hair actually holds a curl or wave for more than half an hour.
I'm down to washing my hair every second or third day and even then, my scalp doesn’t really feel greasy which is unreal.
My hair has been transformed from a 2D world to a 3D world and even my partner (who never says anything about my hair) noticed it. It also leaves your scalp with a cool, fresh minty feeling which I love.

This shampoo and conditioner plumps your hair and gives your scalp an effective but gentle cleanse. It also comes with a leave-in treatment which adds shine and fullness. This kit is for natural (or uncoloured) hair but there are other options for treated/coloured hair too.
