Huda Beauty GloWish Review: Why We’re Obsessed With This Dewy Skin Tint Foundation

I've tried a lot of foundations in my 20+ years working as a professional makeup artist.
'What's your favourite foundation?' is also one of my most frequently asked questions.
It's a broad question with an even broader answer (sorry folks!).
But if you asked me for my favourite dewy, glowy foundation, hands down, I'd say Huda Beauty GloWish.
So imagine my excitement when I heard we are now stocking Huda Beauty at Adore Beauty!
My Huda love affair began when Huda Kattan and her sisters launched the brand with a range of false eyelashes back in 2013.
I've been using Huda Beauty products on myself and my clients for years.
And just quietly, their GloWish MultiDew Skin Tint Foundation might just be one of my favourite foundations, ever.

Huda Beauty GloWish Multi Dew Skin Tint is the 'love child' of Huda Beauty and Wishful (Huda’s skincare line).
Combining flawless makeup and radiant skincare, Huda Beauty GloWish is a dewy tinted foundation packed with skin-loving ingredients.
I’ve mentioned I use this in my makeup kit, but that's not to say it's only for special occasions.
This product is on high rotation as my daily skin tint, as it adds the right amount of coverage, glow and skin hydration for me.

As this is a light-to-medium coverage foundation, application tools can help control the coverage.
After an airbrushed 'your skin but better' finish?
Huda Beauty GloWish Airbrush Finish Face Brush is my favourite brush to apply GloWish with because it gives me the most radiant, flawless finish, and fast.
Pump 1-2 drops of the Huda GloWish skin tint onto the brush, and then lightly buff it into the skin from the centre of your face, blending outwards.

Want a true skin tint result?
Mix a pump of GloWish into your moisturiser to create a quick and effortless radiant 'no makeup makeup' look.
If you prefer a more full-coverage look, simply go in with a second layer.
Pressing more product into the skin using a damp makeup sponge is super easy and will add more coverage, but keep skin looking like skin.
For textured skin, try using a pore-minimising primer underneath.

Those with normal, dry or mature skin might find this dewy foundation wears perfectly on its own.
Oily skin-havers or anyone prone to shine, you'll probably want to powder any shine hot spots.
A light dusting of Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder around the nose, between the brows, and over the chin will help the product wear longer.
Oh, and I also like adding a pump of GloWish to other foundations when I want to boost luminosity.

Now, let's get into my Huda Beauty GloWish skin tint review.
My Huda Beauty GloWish Foundation Review.
Let's start with the packaging.
GloWish MultiDew Skin Tint comes in lightweight plastic tube that's great for throwing into your bag.
The pump-style dispenser makes controlling how much product you're applying with your brush, sponge or fingers quick and fuss free.
Huda Beauty GloWish Multi Dew Skin Tint has a non-runny texture that's more liquid foundation-y than a traditional skin tint.
Shade wise, I do find these tints run deeper than expected, and tend to throw a more 'golden' undertone.
My advice? Go a shade lighter than you think you'll be.
I wear '05 Medium', or '06 Medium Tan' in Summer.
Here's what my skin looks like with and without GloWish.
The product delivers a luminous tint of colour that enhances my natural glow.
The dewy finish deeply hydrates the skin, but it also lasts longer than your typical serum foundation.
In my experience, this Huda Beauty foundation works really well for my clients with naturally olive, warm or deep complexions.
It's definitely a win for regular fake tanners, too, as it enhances a golden skin tone and adds a gorgeous radiant glow.
If you have more of a cool-toned porcelain or alabaster complexion, this might not be the product for you.
That's not to say Huda GloWish can't work for all fair and medium skin tones.
