Bobbi Brown makeup holds a special place in my heart.
I can vividly remember the excitement I had when my mum took me to my very first makeup masterclass, and it was with Bobbi Brown.
This is where my true beauty junkie persona was born.
I instantly became obsessed with the brand, and have used it ever since.
I liken
Bobbi Brown to my favourite aunty - reliable, always delivers, and it’s always there for me.
In my opinion, Bobbi Brown makeup products are the best at accentuating your natural beauty.
From the finishes, to the quality, their standard is high and they are absolutely worth the investment.
The staple Bobbi Brown products that I’ve had in my kit for the last twenty years (yikes that makes me feel old - but again goes to show how when you find something that
works, there is no need to replace it) includes
the correctors (I use these to correct the darkness under my eyes and have a new found respect for these since becoming a mum), the
bronze shimmer brick (I used this religiously throughout my twenties, my skin was always glowing), and the pot rouge blushes (loving this especially now for a
no-makeup makeup look).
When the new Bobbi Brown Weightless Skin Foundation came across my desk, I was so incredibly excited to try it, and here's why...

My Bobbi Brown Weightless Skin Foundation Review:

In my experience, all the Bobbi Brown foundations that I have tried have always been really comfortable to wear, and this is no exception.
The name Weightless Skin Foundation is so well and truly appropriate, as that’s exactly what it feels like when you wear it. I also love how inclusive the Bobbi Brown shade range is!
When I first saw the viscosity of the formula, it was thicker than I was expecting. However, once I had applied it (with my fingertips) it melted into my skin, and was in fact weightless.
I was very happy with its medium coverage, and also mixed some foundation with my Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base moisturiser to achieve a lighter coverage for more of a natural, 'no-makeup' look.
The longevity is what really impressed me though.
I spent the weekend catching up with friends and chasing after my two little ladies and still managed to look fresh by the evening.
If you have dry/dehydrated skin like me, my tip is to boost your skin with a lot of hydration (serum, moisturiser and a primer) before applying foundation.
If you prep your base well, your foundation will always look more like your skin, in my opinion.
Overall, my typical uneven skintone was easily evened out, without looking cakey, and my skin looked and felt really nice.
I did add a cream blush to my look to give my cheeks a little more glow.
I will be adding this foundation to my routine, especially now that spring is here and the weather is starting to warm up!
This is the perfect foundation for nights out, long days or just when you want your skin to look really damn good.
Our Other AB Staffer Bobbi Brown Weightless Skin Foundation Reviews:

"I think I’ve found my new second skin, just in time for summer.
This foundation lives up to its name — it's incredibly weightless, both in how it feels and how it looks.
Despite being ultra-light, it still manages to keep my dry skin hydrated and comfortable all day.
The coverage is buildable, giving me that perfect skin-like finish with the perfect amount of blemish-blurring.
My skin still looks and feels like skin, but better. And I actually don’t think I’ve ever been colour matched so perfectly — shade NW022, for my fair skinned friends playing along at home." - Jas.

"I'm partial to a more glowy base, so I didn't think I was going to love the natural-matte finish of this new Bobbi Brown foundation, but I was happily proved wrong.
I actually appreciate that it kept my oily t-zone in check (so can comfirm the oil and shine control claim is true) pretty much the whole day.
Usually those kinds of foundation formulas go cakey and feel heavy on the skin but this one didn’t.
Its featherlight formula gave me enough coverage for day-wear while still letting my natural complexion and even my freckles shine through.
If anyone is looking for a great shine-control foundation that won't feel too much on the skin especially as we approach the warmer months, this is a great option." - Sadaf.
