Adaptogens
This potent plant extract is derived from a range of herbs such as ashwagandha, holy basil and licorice. Adaptogens have been used for centuries in Ayurvedic practices as a way to help your body's ability to combat stress. All Disciple products contain adaptogens to help reduce the feeling of stress.
Prebiotics
Similar to our gut, our skin too has a unique flora where bad bacteria can cause breakouts. Using insulin-rich burdock root, a prebiotic plant fibre, these prebiotics nourish the good bacteria on the skin’s surface and reduce breakouts.
Linoleic Acid
An Omega 6 fatty acid, Linoleic acid is commonly found in your own skin surface lipids. When your skin is low in Linoleic acid levels, sebum becomes thicker and is more likely to clog the pores.
